Got this while I was making coffee for The Wife. The nearest book was Sarah Moulton Cooks at Home
Page 123 is about Mini Meat Loaves.
Here are the sentences: "I tested these guys by freezing them both precooked and raw, and I slightly preferred the way the precooked ones turned out. If you are baking meat loaves that were precooked and frozen, they will take about 45 minutes to heat through. If you are baking meat loaves that you froze raw, put them right in the oven from the freezer and give them about 50 minutes or until cooked through."
I tag Amy, Johnny, Ellyn, The Darwins, and, of course, the boys at Korrektiv.

Matthew,
Here's what I came up with:
"Maybe it was useful to employ a computer for obtaining results which any intelligent person can reach with the help of a few calculations on the back of an envelope, because the modern world believes in computers and masses of facts, and it abhors simplicity. But is is always dangerous and normally self-defeating to try and cast out devils by Beelzebub, the prince of the devils.
For the modern industrial system is not gravely threatened by possible scarcities and high prices of most of the materials to which the M.I.T. study devotes such ponderous attention."

Seems about right - the Belly God vs. the Intentional Luddite
Matthew,
I'd hoped you'd catch that...!

Once I'm at a point where the two closest books at hand aren't the Bible and that day-by-day with Pope Benedict thing, I'll do it.
Because that would be just so pathetic...
So I guess the Guitar Hero instructions don't count.
And running up to my bedroom - surrounded by Flannery O'Connor, Walker Percy and a lot of good theology - and pretending I never read this in the family room - would be cheating. Looks like I'm going to have to reach a few feet.... oh the humanity. :)
I had a manual from a recent SQL class right handy, but the pages weren't numbered normally. Henri de Lubac would've been too hoidy-toidy, and a snipet of my nearly-done novel would be sooo homer.
Obviously, I'm too self-conscious to handle the pressure of being tagged.
Oh, no you don't. If there's an unfinished novel about, the public has a need to know!
"Unfinished" is quite negative. "Nearly done" emphasizes the positive work I've accomplished. Positive statements are best.
Right! And when you've finished writing it, it will not be "unpublished," it will be "ready for publication"! I totally agree.
